A very merry unbirthday too you
A very merry unbirthday too you....
This is the party for all those people who aren't having their birthdays right now and like Alice in Wonderland.

Okay. Let's play some ungames. How about unpin the bubbles from the fish.

Or we could try to reassemble a pinata and put all the candy back.

Or we could un-drink until we're sober.

Terry Pratchett in one book wrote about grapes which made wine that worked backwards. You got the hangover before you started drinking, and you had to drink a lot to get over it. Shall we have some of that wine?

Hmmm... Maybe you could drink huge quantities of regular wine, then drink equally huge quantities of that backwards-acting wine. That way, you can drink as much as you want, and you can still drive yourself home safely!

Wonderful, wonderful idea.

Oh, dear. We seem to be out of the backwards wine. I'll have to come from the shops for some more.

Be sure to pick up a lot; people around here love to drink, you know.

*comes back with some eniw*
Here we go.
Wait a minute. *looks more closely at the bottle* This is just regular wine that the label's on backwards.
*goes back to the shop*

Do come back soon...
*sips her virtual wine and ponders the question to the meaning of life(as opposed to the meaning of life, which we all know is 42)*

Why bother to ponder anything? Just staring into space works just fine for me. (Actually, here's something to ponder: We live in a 4-dimensional universe (including time as a dimension). For 8-dimensional beings, would the meaning of life be 84?)

Penguin Girl - returned at last Posted May 12, 2000
That is truely a good question.

Have some cake while we wait? We do seem to have been waiting for a while. Oh, and why duct tape?

Penguin Girl - returned at last Posted Jun 14, 2000
Mmmm cake. It HAS rather been a while. There's a forum on my homepage discussing why duct tape. I'm don't actually know.

Yup, although things have quieted down, and we're not even drunk yet...You wanna bring the party back to life?
