The ultimate gadget

I love gadgets. The more technical with flashing light and colour LCD screens the happier I am. I think this is a feeling DNA would have appreciated, please feel free to disagree. But, I hate, when you have your wizz-bang techo gadget home of six weeks and there's a new one on the market, smaller (smaller is bigger these days) and better. All of a sudden, you cool gadget is old-hat and all the after sales merchandise starts drying up until you can't even buy a stylus that will work on it (for those without PDA's it's the little pen things; for eveyone else, please disregard).
So, my wish is for the ultimate gadget. A gadget that it forever updatable (because who am I to halt progress) that has guaranteed peripheral support, that will never be considered uncool or out of date and that can do (or will do) anything that man can dream up for it to do now and in the future.
One gadget to rule them all,
And in the light combine them! (into one small convenient package)

The ultimate gadget?!
I do not know why you even ask?
It would be, of course, a wireless HitchHiker's Guide that would take his references in this site. That way, virtually everybody could write entries and the whole thing could get infinite. With the incredible variety of entries given, there would be an incredible choice for reviewers to choose from when adding a permanent entry.
+I would suggest that it would have the same size and shape as the original HHGTTG. Make it something that you would want to show the world. In the 60s, there use to be a whole binch o people walking around with a frickin big book because they thought that the guy writing it had a point.
For those who ask... two swallows may carry a coconut together...

It's a contract deal with 02 on an Iphone. Costs you an awful lot but you only pay a little bit each year (comparatively) and you get free upgrades yearly, unlimited credited and apps and it's always cool.
I'm a Ubuntu man myself.
Key: Complain about this post
