I'm fine, yesterday I had my first driving lesson, but my page hasn't changed. However, it soon will.

That's great! Happy birthday, though it's a bit late! I hope everything goes well with the driving. I honestly hope that you *do not* crash. I started my driving lessons when I was seventeen, too, but then, just before I was to go for my exam, I *did* crash the car! In fact what happened that a large truck in front of me reversed straight into me, and it happened too quickly and I was too frozen up to react. Because of that, it took me very long before I got my license. I couldn't do it at the university, because I did not have a car there. I only had a chance to do it again when I came back from University in 1992. For many years though I put it off because I had other more important worries. I eventually got it when I was 23 or 24 or so.

That must have been horrible! Glad you've got it now, though.

I don't make a fuss about my birthdays either. I did not have any birthday party after my eighteenth. I usually also don't get presents, except from my parents, whom I still give presents to on their birthdays as well!

Yep, the crash was rather unpleasant. Yep, it is also nice to have my licence at last! Not that I drive very frequently. I still don't have a car of my own, but I drive my parents' pickup when I need to drive somewhere.

All my attempts at anything vaguely like a party keep failing anyway... And I have a feeling that this year won't be much difference either...

Well that's fair enough.

The only serious party I had was with my eighteenth birthday ... I tell ya, half of the people who turned up for that one were people I've never seened before in my life and who didn't know me from anyone else either... It's actually better to have a smaller, calmer party, I think!

Hey, more action ... my front page now has a link to pictures of one of my three favourite living cats!

Yes, I think so too... I keep hearing of local parties which get busted by the police, who are on a drugs raid...

Well, my party wasn't really that wild ... only *big*! There was lots of loud rock music and dancing and food, and stuff to drink, but no alcohol, nothing stronger either, there was only some people smoking tobacco outside the hall where it was held, which of course is nasty, but legal!

Oh good.
I'm not really a party sort of a person anyway...

And (now I've forgotten how to spell her name) Kadoefie? is so sweet! Espeically the photos of her as a kitten...

Well, I guess I can just describe what I do ... I'm having a nice, LONG day online, during which I hope to take care of lots of stuff here on h2g2 and elsewhere. Tomorrow I'm back at the painting, and at the lifting weights, and at the reading ... oh yes, I almost forgot - tomorrow morning I go see my psychiatrist. Yippiee! Oh well, I'll see what kind of guy he is ... I got good reports about him, I just saw him a few times also ... he lives just over the fence from us, in fact, and I see his cats here all the time ... his ex-cats, I mean; they all disappeared ... which is very very sad, because they were the loveliest cats, beautiful burmese, very pureblooded and very expensive ... he and his wife lost at least three of these cats, because they were unfortunately also very aggressive and roamed over the whole place. The last two were spayed and not so aggressive as the first, but still, they roamed around a lot ... they were often in our yard. I hope these people next time get cheap cats like ours, for their sakes!
