ooooooh you HAVE to get holy bible, its the best album lyrically, EVER!
Richey's name credits.
One Brain Cell Posted May 12, 2002
I think if you check that back of the GT nlet sleeve, richey's name is shown as 'Richey James Edwards'. I'm not 100% sure on that, pretty sure, but not totally.
My favourites on GT are;
- Little Baby Nothing
- Stay Beautiful
- You Love Us
and when I'm in the mood, Repeat is great.

Do you think James will follow suit (if he hasn't already) and drop the fake part of his name (Dean).
James' real name.
One Brain Cell Posted Jun 10, 2002
Eh? that is his real name isn't it? I remember him saying once in an interview that his mother, when it came to naming him, couldn't decide between Clint Eastwood Bradfield, and James Dean Bradfield. Eventually she went for the latter.
I've never heard before anywhere that it wasn't his real full name.
James' real name.
Researcher 195959 Posted Jun 10, 2002
He got it from the actor james dean to make him sound more interesting. I can't remember where I heard this as it was ages ago. I guess it could be misinformation but I don't think so.
James' real name.
Katsy a.k.a. Esti Posted Jun 15, 2002
I can never remember if it was his mum or his dad, one wanted Clint Eastwood Bradfield, the other James Dean Bradfield
I did a remix of Repeat the other day with nicky rants over the top of it with one of two james ones thrown in. If anyone wants to hear it contact me on msn or icq (contact details are on my page) and i will send it to you. Sample: "repeat after me, I look more like a woman than Anne Robinson"

*nods* Nicky Wire's a *very* cool guy, and *VERY* gorgeous
i've got *so* many feather boa's since I saw them last year at the CIA. [They're pink, and they're fluffy, and they're GREAT!! ]
I wasn't really a fan until then, not that I didn't like them or anything, I just hadn't really heard much of their stuff (didn't really like to stay inside and listen to the radio with mum. Was happier outside!) but Wow!
Just thought I'd say... This is my first reply to something on the whole site and I saw 'Manic Street Preachers' in the music/artists section thing and thought 'mmm Nicky Wire...' Yeah...
