h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've just bought the dvd leaving the manic street preachers 20th century cardiff 1999/2000, and looking at who wrote what and such and noticed that some are credited to nick jones and some are nicky wire and some are richey james and some richey edwards, so can anyone explain?

Nicky Wire's real name is Nick Jones...Richey's full name is Richard James Edwards - Nicky started using 'Jones' as his surname for songwriting as of '98's 'This is my Truth...' album. I'm not sure if Richey was ever credited as 'Edwards' while he was part of the band - at least, not on any of my (fairly exstensive) collection anyway.

I noticed that as well. I recently bought This Is My Truth and I wanted to know why the lyrics were by "Nick Jones" and the bass guitar was "Nicky Wire", when I knew full well they were the same person. He's out to confuse people I'm sure of it

yeah I sw something on the dvd i bought and then went to look at the album on one it said something like all you see and hear is by the manic street preachers, but I noticed two names

All UK TV stations suck.....sorry! I hate E4.com as well cos their media player didnt work with my comp so i couldnt watch the live webcast of the Manics from the Reading Festival

The Millenium stadium looks miles bigger on tv. It was tiny in real life WHEN I WENT TO SEE THE MANICS LIVE IN THE MILLENIUM STADIUM!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry if that makes you jealous, esti. . .hehehehe

I see a dvd is out of the cuba consert they did, and I'll be getting that soon, I did tape it but didn't keep it on tape.

just a little note that the dvd doesnt work with the ps2!

good job i bought a proper dvd player, well, I say that bu the one I bought wasn't a multi reigon, and can't play some of the ones I'd like to...........................
