Oh. One of the more serious episodes of Buffy to be released. Personally I like the ones that can make me laugh.

Same here. Although, when they do the dramatic episodes well, they really do some stunning stuff...

Well Spike and Faith *would* be cool, naaah. Cooler than Spike and Willow or Spike and Buffy, at least. Though that's not hard

I think it was "The Initative" that started the whole Spike/Willow thing, the scene in question is below.

S: I don't understand. This sort of thing's never happened to me before.

S: I felt alright when I started. Let's try again. Ow! Oh! Ow! Damn it!
W: Maybe you're trying to hard. Doesn't this happen to every vampire?
S: Not to me it doesn't.
W: It's me isn't it?
S: What are you talking about?
W: Well you came looking for Buffy, that settled. I .. I ..You didn't want to bite me. I just happened to be around.
S: Piffle!
W: I know I'm not the kind of girl vamps like to sink their teeth into. It's always like "ooh, you're like a sister to me" or, "oh you're such a good friend"
S: Don't be ridiculous, I'd bite you in a heartbeat.
W: Really?
S: Thought about it.
W: When?
S: Remember last year? You had on that ... Fuzzy pink number with the lilac underneath?
W: I would never have guessed. You played the blood lust kinda cool.
S: I hate being obvious. All fangy and "rrr" takes the mystery out.
W: But if you could.
S: If I could, yeah.
W:You know, this doesn't make you any less terrifying.

Absolutely one of my favourite scenes ever.
And yeah, that's what started it off for me- but I hadn't seen Lover's Walk then, and there's other stuff too.
Not only on the show though- James likes the idea, I think Joss finds it kinda attractive too (it's twisted enough for him to find fun ) and I don't think Aly's averse to it either. Plus, I have heard that Willow may end up only loving Tara as a friend, and there have been cryptic messages, which could refer to either Willow *or* Buffy falling for Spike, flying all over the spoiler pages...

One word: Yuck.

Yup- that was worth it

I'm holding out for Spike and Faith or Spike and Dru. Either one; I don't care which!
