Hi there I hope you find the path you are looking for... I think I have found mine now... since easter I think I was someone else... but now I'm back to my former self I just need some more self esteem, self assertiveness and a bit of counselling

I have many false identities. Each time you suspect it's not you, think about how you really are and what you really would do.
You may have caught the problem just in time. Good luck.

It's like the holy grail! The perfect you! *shiny noise*
Has anyone successfully managed to have two or more COMPLETELY separate personalities at once? My friend has this strange and odd problem in that she accidently invents people and then really does live their lives when it seems a good idea. For example, she'll invent a friend so that she can talk to people without them thinking it's really her. But then it catches her out because she can never talk about anything she finds out because technically SHE doesn't know it, the friend does so it gets stuck in her mind. Did anything in that make sense?

I don't know if finding the perfect you is like finding the holey grail, it just dipends on how you whant to look at it. Try thinking about finding the perfect things within you, rather then making all of you perfect. We all have our faults and wht not, but hey isn't it quite nice to be imprefect? I mean when did you ever meet a perfect person who you actuall liked? Course you can change and be the perfect you, maybe you allready are and just dont' realise it yet, I became convinced I was rubish but now I reacon I am actually ritty cool, what's changed, not a lot! Just don't go about anything to diliberatly, it's much more about the general principle of the thing then the actual fine details.
as far as self confidence goes if you find it I would love to know how! Though I did find a rather nice guide to self esteam on the BBCi site but can't seam to find it again .
oh and good luck, dont' be affraid of darkness, or healing! I have had so much of both in the last year and I am glad for all of it!

I think it is possible to recover.
I think once you ask the question and know the answer, it is harder NOT to change!

i was a really misled person for as long as i can remember. i was very "spiritually sick" and had no clue where my life was going. i think i've found the answer to my troubles, though.

hmm, having re-read that I can't help but feel I am being rather overly deep! ah well
questions, awnsers? oh dear no, don't go saying that to any therapists, they'll bight your head off! apparently there are no awnsers, only acceptance, or something like that!!! Anyway don't know about you guys but I find that whenever I go looking for awnsers I seam to just generate more questions!
hmm, is there a point to this? I think not

If you have been going in the wrong direction, then by coming to that very conclusion you may have already decided where you do want to go in which case, it's not so bad.
Even if you have no idea where you want to go, then have a crack at everything you can. You'll probably find something sooner than you think.
It's never too late to change. Money can be a limiting factor but rarely stops anyone completely.

Actually sounded pretty normal for young adulthood.
(The original poster) They have probably been on a path ,without knowing it.
Look where you ended up!
You are asking about hope and change.
All part of life

It's not the question of Finding the perfect self, there's no such thing. It is about living in reality,in the very moment, not in projections, waiting for your perfect self(as I have been practicing, trying to become great and Important person, following the instructions to it). Now,I'm stucked here as an autistic creep,a product of the authorities-my parents and the school.A product, not the producer of anything, not even my self.No real life,no true expirience,I'll just have to accept it and open eyes for the beauty of the simple life and the beauty of the present.

"I'll just have to open eyes for the beauty of the simple life and the beauty of the present."
That IS the whole trick, your wise enough to know it!
That is a big plus!
Good Luck
