A Conversation for Church of the True Weevil

I hear crickets...

I hope that this unusual and rather sudden silence on the part of the church members is because we're all preparing for St Weevil's day, which is now a scant two months away. Tell me that we all haven't suddenly lost our faith all at the same time.

No we haven't!! smiley - smiley In fact I just discovered a new weevil species a few days ago but was too busy with the duties for the church of Weekendism that I couldn't report it and now it seems that I've forgotten it... I am terribly sorry for I have sinned... smiley - sadface But I'm sure I'll meet that weevil again and then report it to the Church...

*prints a pile of mini-sized "wanted"-posters and starts hanging them all around for all weevils to see*

Fret not. Nobody is required to visit the church on a regular basis. You can come here whenever you bleeding-well feel like it. smiley - smiley It just struck me as odd that suddenly nobody bleeding-well felt like coming here all at the same time. No worries.

Shame about the weevil, though. Perhaps it will turn up again some day.

Forgetting the weevil was the thing I considered as sin... But I'm sure I'll find it, no matter what it takes!!

Perhaps you could send some of your weevils out to have a look 'round for it.

I've already done that... I'll report immediately when they or I find anything...
