The Bonzo Dog Doodah Band played at my University college in the late sixties - I actually found a contract Viv signed in purple felt tip in an old filing cabinet a few years ago, a few months after his death. Now what would a 1967 (I think) Viv sig fetch at auction? Is it worth a 500 mile round trip to collect?

Hi Zebedee,
Put it on eBay, or whatever passes for eBay in England. That is, if you can bear to part with it. But get an appraisal first.

It's the possibly fruitless day-trip to Lancaster that bothers me - I mean it could be worth nothing. It'll cost me at least 50 quid in petrol to go and get the damn thing - if it's still there. I replaced it in the file for posterity's sake but knowing my luck the whole place has been emptied into a skip by now.
