If you like Eyes Wide Shut, read Traumnovelle (or Dream Story) by Arthur Schnitzler as it was the inspiration for the film.
It's almost exactly parallel to the film (cept it's set in turn of the centrury Vienna).
Also, there are a lot of Freudian references in the film (obvious to anyone who has studied Freud - cept me; I took a class that studied the film) because Scnitzler was friends with Freud.
