I'm not worried about where we'll be in March. Big Bureacratic Corporations (note the initials ) don't usually move very quickly.

Be sure not to forget to come back. I know how wonderful it is to go places, and how hard it is to return to home turf.

What Paulh?,
There is an 'ol song that goes "No matter where I roam there is no place like home". But it IS a very old song .. ., .. ...

I was being there for a moment. My ness was brought on by a month (January) of seemingly endless snow and ice storms . Escaping to someplace warm with no driveways to shovel would be very tempting if it weren't that the same snow that clutters my front walk also prevents planes from taking off at the nearest airport.
Of course, I don't want my haven to be so warm that there are hassling me. I like a happy medium, with or without palm trees.

Like many people, I've always been a little uncomfortable with the traditional seasons in context of southern California weather, the autumn often referred to as the fire season , the winter like spring time, the spring like summer in a more temperate climate, the torrid season that follows spring time the season when the turn out, just too hot to be referred to as 'summer'.

Wiv all me books an' CDs, the move was a night/ sorry, make that day mare.
But survive we must. I've never known why, for surviving is precisely what we cannot do, in the end. We are built to need othrs (upgroing babies etc etc.

Don't , Jabs.
We survive as long as we can, and then it's up to the restless younger generations who've been waiting eagerly to do what we we told them not to do.

Welcome back J.
"We survive as long as we can, and then it's up to the restless younger generations who've been waiting eagerly to do what we we told them not to do."
Can you you remind me what that was again, that you told us not to do I mean. I think I speak for all of my generation when I say we weren't paying any attention at the time, but it sounds incredibly interesting when you put it that way.

It was so long ago that I can't remember all of it. Also, it's apt to be different from one family to the next. Think of the father who frowns on his son's choice of career or wife/significant other. This just makes the son more determined to go ahead with his plans.
Why did the kids put beans in their ears?
No one can hear with beans in their ears.
After awhile the reason appears:
They did it 'cause we said "No!"
