A Conversation for Earth
Mostly Harmless

I have recently arrived on Earth, and found the advice in the Guide to be largely accurate and most helpful. I would, however, like to warn visitors about an Indian restaurant just off Charring Cross. Extra hot really means EXTRA hot. This in itself wouldn't be a problem, as seasoned hitch-hikers will have developed a resistance to almost anything alien food can offer. However, this particular restaurnat is frequented by certain quarters of galactic cosmopoliton society, whose tolerance for culinary warfare is not as developed. One Mangalonian Tooselharf recently was observed to swallow almost half of the restaurant's clientelle as they were blocking its way to the fish tank (which it swallowed whole).

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
