Jammin? Sign me up!
And can't nobody make music to jam along with like Neil Young!
The best way to learn, especially if you only know one note.

Zakly. Rythmn or lead. I have been known to use as many as four notes in one tune!

What a wonderful thing to have Mark Moxon in the forum. HEY! I read somewhere that DNA himself plays guitar...

There's a long road between the sounds of "Sweet Home Alabama" (Or "Gimme Three Steps" for that matter) and "Preacher Man" for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Just out of curiosity, where did that come from?

Yes, I think DNA plays guitar and I believe he also wrote some lyrics for pink floyd!!!
It would be nice to see DNA in this thread!
I want to put Mark on the list but I will wait for him to tell me what instrument he would like to play in the Jam!!

DNA does play guitar, and Division Bell contains a sample from Hitch Hikers radio show. In return for the sample, so the story goes, the Floyd let DNA play on one of their live shows.
Jealousy is a terrible thing, but it really should have been me playing the solo for Comfortably Numb.

I thought Steve Vai was trained under Joe Satriani, the legendary guitar demigod. He trained with Frank Zappa?

Hmm.. Ya know.. All this time and I hadn't thought to check my own music links to see if Cosmic has it. What's worse, I just spent $XX and would -really- liked to have spent $XXX on a 26-CD collection, but.. Erm... Uhm... *ahem*

Hmmmm...... Your definately right about Vai being tought by Satch. I saw a video interview thingy a while back where he said it himself. I'm not sure about the Zappa thing though.
Only a demigod? come on... give him credit.
