A bit of a mixed bunch of an Easter that one. My dad has stopped his chemo, as the cure is worse than the disease at the mo'. So we just need to wait and see how things go. The man TPC has emigrated to Kiwiland seriously reducing the likelyhood of being dragged out mid-week drinking. Yet I intend to go visiting, hopefully this winter, which is a new and exciting prospect. Doctor Who returned to our screens and was bloomin' great. Eastercon turned out to be one of the best I have ever been to. I injured myself most greviously while playing Quidditch. I have been nobbled to help out at Worldcon in August and I may well have publically agreed to run another convention in a couple of years time.
Oh, and I drove on the M6 which, for me, is a major achievment.

Yeah! con... con... con...what are you calling it?
Yeah! Didn't know you were planning to visit him/us that soon. I'm now definately going totry and get out there sooner rather than later.
Less likely to be made to go midweek drinking. More likely to be expected to drive up the M9 though - much less hassle than the M6 (congratz)

I missed the actual public agreement, but S, and Jamie and Munchkin were all speaking in terms on when it happens rather than if. Still if you book now, tickets back in 2007 won't be too bad

Even if the whole con is spent in the pub catching up with everyone. We will get a con pub this time won't we? Much as I enjoyed the stag night reaction to appearing in the pub in Moulin Rouge costume, I'd rather not have to!
Oh, and as the Mig/Mhairi entity is attending Migs brothers wedding on the 8th do you two wanna come visit sunny Dundee?

I can bring a grumpy rant about Who if you would like?

That would be allowed. Though by this time next week it might not be needed. Maybe Mr. E will have changed his mind by then?

it does ring of a 'you can pay me a bit more can't you?' sort of thing?

I doubt it somehow. Mr. Eccleston has never been known for hanging around at the same thing for very long and he even got himself out of Cracker pretty sharpish when it went to a second series. It just annoys that you would have thought it might have crossed his mind that The Doctor is one of these rolls that everyone remembers you for.

i think it looks a bit prima donnaish...he might fall down the blackhole that is exsoap hell if hes not careful..one series does not a type cast make...course he might have a good film role lined up or he might want more money
