You can get a lot of British "foods" in America, from
plum puddings through digestives to After 8 Mints, but
I have never seen Jaffa Cakes, and I think there is a
very good reason.
They're weird.
I learned to eat all sorts of British so-called foods
during the many years I lived there, but I never liked
Jaffa cakes.
What the hell is a jaffa cube?

Why the sneers and insults? It's not compulsory to like Jaffa Cakes.

In answer to your question what is a jaffa cube I ask you to use a little bit of common sense and elementary reasoning. This is a forum on the article connected with jaffa cakes. Therefore reasoning suggest that jaffa cubes are similar to jaffa cakes. The word cubes in them suggests they are cubical so there you go. Cubical jaffa cakes would be the answer in simple laymans terms

Call yourself a researcher, Dave? If common sense could be used to answer all the mysterious questions of the universe, we would all be out of a job, and the Guide we strive to create would be useless. In truth, common sense only gets in the way of genuine effective research.
So fear not Asteroid Lil, as I am in a position to carry out the necessary research (I'm sure my local supermarket sells Jaffa Cubes), I will make it a top priority to do so. And although I do like Jaffa Cakes (especially the lime ones, although milk chocolate instead of plain would, in my opinion, be an improvement), like any good researcher I will not let this bias the report. There are many questions to answer. How big are they? How much is coated in chocolate? Is the spongy bit the same?
Watch this space...

I have actually sampled jaffa cubes but found the cakes to be far superior.

No, it's not compulsory, thank heaven.
I spoke up because the opinions already expressed
were quite homogenous and it only seemed right to
bring some balance to the thread.

Common sense won't get you a cup of coffee...
And it certainly doesn't follow that the cubic
avatar of a thing is merely a different shape of
the original. Beef stock seeps to mind.

When I was in England there were only orange ones.
How many flavors are there now?
