When you can lie in, you sleep like a baby. When you have to be up at four, your paranoid tendencies wake you up on the hour, every hour, to make sure you haven't overslept. And it takes longer to get to sleep in the first place.

If there is nothing important to do, you wake up bright and refreshed. If you have an important interview/exam/meeting you haven't slept a wink and feel like death warmed over.
