[How about the River Pirates' Inn? The restaurant side, away from the bar.
But you might want to consider the Yelp reviews...

[I'm not sure from the descriptions whether Ramblin' Rhodes is the proprietor of the River Pirates' Inn, or someone who rents a room there. If Arsenio wants to have lunch there, how much poetic license will be allowed in filling in the details of decor and cuisine?]

[Ramblin' Rhodes is from out of town. Go for it. Nobody's been there except the waitress.]

[I never spend enough time imagining the details of the scenes my character is in. A lunch at the River Pirates Inn could give me that chance. I remember with pleasures Mark Twain's detailed descriptions of the cabins of riverboats in "Life on the Mississippi." They really knew how to describe a scene in the 19th century. ]

[Arsenio's like a fish out of water, but he really would like to belong. If his shop sells things that not many people really want, he still hopes they will enjoy seeing beautiful china through his shop windows as they go past. Bringing beauty to the world is a way of sharing something precious with others. ]

The plan (yes, there actually is one!) Will take him nowhere near the Inn, as the boss says, go for it mate. (The mate was me, not DG...)

[If you make up an interior I may be persuaded to draw it, otherwise I can maybe help, I didn't really think about it yet as I didn't want to interfere with other people's ideas]

[Ok, so let's see. As it's called River Pirates' Inn we have a defined topic but probably don't want to get too kitchy. I imagine to stay true to the pirate topic there would be rather dark colors and lots of wood. Probably a wooden floor, wooden tables and chairs/benches. Certainly a large bar with some impressive bottles (some maybe just for show?). Probably lots of river-themed decorations on the walls.
The food I guess would be rustic, nothing fancy but tasty and filling. I guess they also serve a large variety of different beers.
Hope that helps.]

[Remember how far inland this is, and that fish come from rivers and lakes. Trout, perch, bluegille, sunnies, bass, possibly channel catfish...
The Nighthoover River was voted Pennsylvania's River of the Year in 2019, so there could be a notice about that...
Also, vintage prints of log rafts, flatboats, keelboats, steamboats, and other vehicles on the river?

[Thanks, you two . Arsenio won't be grabbing lunch there until November 13, when it will be noon, so there are a few days in which to write a description. Arsenio's part-time sales clerk, Rose Lapin, works mornings as a waitress at the River Pirates' Inn, and in the china shop from 2:00 p.m. on, when foot traffic picks up. You will hear more about her as well. ]
