h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have noticed that a spell checker has been added to the post message box, thank you!

As an American I have been writing my messages in my WP with a UK dictionary for several years. The h2g2 checker seems to insist on American spelling

Just thought I'd drop a note and see if this can be easily corrected?

I use 'Open Office' and usually use Alabaster here.

I wasn't aware that h2g2 had a spell checker, so I suspect this is a feature of your browser... perhaps it's been updated recently, and some setting has changed?

I'll ask tech just in case though.

Hi FS, Milla's right, we've not added a spell checker.

When they show up, it's almost always a browser thing, and you should be able to tweak it in the browser settings

I'll have to stop by petty hates later and add one about computer programs that add features they think you want without asking, or even telling you about them

I did move to new laptop about 3 months ago, windows 8.1 and all
