I was going to do it, but I fell at the second hurdle. Day two just didn't lend itself to journalling.

But now that I've crashed out of it, I'm glad I did. I won't feel obliged to write *any* old crap just for the sake of it, now.

I meant to do it, but the thought of starting a new thread each day for 30 days was a bit overwhelming. If we do this again, I think I might suggest each Entrant sticks to one thread and just updates the subject title each day.

Would that be better do you think?

although if you sub to those, then you have a billion threads still.

It would even be better if people just gave the journal entries normal names, instead of having about 50 threads called variations of "November Journal Challenge Day Three", etc.

I rather like the entry idea- assign an "A" number and start a new conversation each day. Then you're only getting a million new conversations a day if you're subscribing to the entries.

I've read only a few and I'm not playing favorites- just selecting what I actually read (and in even fewer cases, reply to) based on how much time I have at any given moment. And I only unsub from anything to keep my PS clean, not because I find any particular friends more boring than anyone else.
