Thanks for all the kind messages - and I promise I will be back in Mustardland soon.
My new resolution will be to be less reserved about catpeeing when someone is obviously out of line. It is one thing to put up with the threats to oneself - but quite another thing when such utter disrespect is shown to another poster's sad loss.
I just had to go away and think for a while - sadly disappointed at the so called Moderators refusal to act, whilst nit picking the slightest thing with other long term posters.
Anyway - time for a cocktail at Grey Gables I think.
See you there
Prue

Hi Auntie Prue,
I've only just got in and been horrified to gather what's been going on in ML. Hopefully something is finally being done.
Glad though you won't be gone long - you've seen how much you'd be missed..
I've told the bar staff at Grey Gables to keep the cocktails flowing.
have a lovely murder!

Prue, the mods did take all the postings down. I think they just clicked the wrong button when trplying to you. (It's all automated )
You're lucky you weren't there earlier; there were six posts from "Dave Allen" in DtA, five just peurile and one plain rude. It was my first CatPee... (And QB's, and Rural Dean's...)
One advantage of being "over here" is that the Linda button (equivalent of CatPee) *automatically* hides the posting you're complaining about, and a Mod is alerted. When they get round to looking at it they decide whether or not to reenstate it...
Thanks for all the kind thoughts

The Linda button sounds very good.
I have to say, there are quite a few features over here that will eventually make Mustardland a better place - and more fun too, in some ways.
Thanks again - and have updated my links as you suggested, Peet.
Hugs all round
Prue

Hugs from me too, Auntie Prue - all the horrible stuff was gone by the time I arrived in TB and realised what had been going on, you must feel very shaken by it all.
I know people often say 'It's only a message board', etc. etc. but I can still vividly remember how horrified I was when the Trollette 'Mrs Simon Pemberton' used my name, and that of others, to post the most disgusting filth all over DTA. In the end I logged off in tears, and very frightened by it all, especially as I was alone at the time. You're not at the moment, are you (apart from Prof Bear, that is)? I think a RL hug does wonders in times like these.
Take care,
Katy

Thanks Katy - no, although the prof is cuddly - I also have a cuddly hubby, who is generous in the hugs department. All is fine now.
A busy day at work tomorrow - then off for a break - will have forgotten all about it by the time we come back.
Sorry about your Trolette attack. There are some weird horrid people around - but happily, most are not like that.

Hi Auntie Prue.
Well, I am certainly glad to hear that you will be back in ML and I hope we will continue to see you here and the "the other place" too
Please don't let that nasty piece of work get you down. I didn't see what was said, but from other posts I have seen just lately, I am sure it was terrible, but we all love you and would hate to see you upset or to go.
Now the mods really are the problem
The trouble seems to me to be that the "new" mods, still don't really get ML or those of us that use it. The "old" BBC Mods knew us all well and would even join in. They would know what was clearly abusive and I feel would have dealt with all of this a lot sooner.
This "new" lot really do need a rocket, (or perhaps Joe's ferrets), up them!
