Hey Litchick, you can change your name to whatever you want it to be, just click on "My Preferences" on the left and fill in the space with your name in it with whatever you want.

But I have to say that this is not where we will eventually end up. They are working hard to provide us with a DNA (new system) board with as many ML-type features as they can. This is just people playing with hootoo (h2g2) to try to get used to a non-ML way of interacting. New Mustardland will be different from this - it will certainly look different.

One of the nice things about hootoo is that we are treated very much more like adults than we are in ML. I hope that continues through into New ML though I'm not hopeful.

BTW on a website that my OH uses he mentioned that he was reading a Michael Moorcock book and it automatically changed it to Michael Moorthingy

We are a cautious breed I guess. It really isn't as difficult as I thought it would be having read some of the comments over on TA. I was distraught about my name change but now I am back to Litchick I am all content (think perhaps I am more AR than I thought!!)

One of things that upset me most was the thought that I couldn't be hebe (less than 6 characters....). Once I'd sorted that I felt a lot better so it's not just you!

I'm getting a bit annoyed with the portents of doom too Eilis. It just seems like a waste of breath, we know ML isn't going to be like h2g2 and we hope it'll be adapted to accommodate our quirks. As I said before, my plan is to chill out, check this out and await info from wonderful Mr K and the DNA chaps.
