Good Evening Cyzaki,
I am beside myself with joy at hearing the news about my Entry. Thank you for the Champagne, and the support you gave to its success.
Cheers!
Sorry I couldn't reply earlier, only got back from Cambridge a couple of hours ago. Was there since last Monday. New baby girl for our youngest son and his lovely wife! So, 2 glasses of Champers!!

Emmily Emmily Emmily!!!
T'was you, wasn't it sweet one!
Thank you!
I have only just got back to my computer within the last 1/2 hour after coming back from Cambridge.
Drink with me to the birth of Elizabeth Louise, our second but equally welcome grandchild; also to the acceptance of my Entry, the success of which is largely down to your encouragement and advice.
Ron

Guilty as charged Ron, but it was your work that got it accepted by the Editors.

I for one don't see it as a depressing subject Ron, I see it as a success story, your success story, 9 years on you're still here, writing about your experience.

Yes Emmily:
Thanks be to God. Here to have seen the birth of our two delightful grandchildren; and before that, the marriage of our own 2 sons.
I underwent the gastrectomy 1 week after our eldest's wedding day! When they had flown to Aussie for 3 weeks honeymoon!
He rang every single day to speak to Pat and ask about me. Must have cost him a bit!

Peer Review: A3805814 - Living with a gastrectomy: notes from a patient, 9 years after the procedure
debbie Posted Nov 3, 2010
Hello
I Have read your experience on gastrectomy.
My dad has just had this surgery. One of the points you made was that it stemmed from an ulcer some years ago? My dad had an ulcer removed when he was in his 20's ( he is now 67) . Did you prove that your ulcer surgery could have been the cause of stomach cancer?
Thank you for your time, Debbie

Hello Debbie, welcome to h2g2
I hope your dad makes a speedy recovery
frontiersman, the author of this entry has not posted since 2006, so you're very unlikely to get a reply from him.
This site can be very confusing, you've posted on the unedited version, that's not a problem, just that the Edited version A4643336 is the one that most people would read.
The reason I'm able to reply is that your post came up on My Space as I'm subscribed to the PeerReview thread.
You should get a welcome visit from an Ace soon.
