The noise made by the tardis when it is about to travel is the same as the noise made when I row on the rowing machines in the gym here at work. Is the tardis powered by Oxbridge rowing blues?

I suspect the original may have been an Oxford rowing blue, as I doubt the effects budget would have stretched much further than one.

The noise of the tardis was someones keys being scraped down a piano wire. It might have been done by an oxford blue, I'm not sure...
