A Conversation for Talking Point: Funniest Films
Dr Strangelove

I am surprised that no-one has mentioned Dr Strangelove yet as one of the funniest films ever made - Peter Sellers in four of the main parts and a chief protagonist called Jack D. Ripper in charge of a US airbase. Maybe it's too close to the truth.
One from left field - how about 'Weekend at Bernie's'? A film about a pair of yuppies who visit a mafiosi at his holiday retreat only to find him dead. They have to pretend that he is alive for the entire weekend, including one hilarious scene where they staple his toupe to his head. Bizarre and little seen.
