http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplayer.m3u?id=6358338&q=hi

The main reason I'm posting this is because I've just registered with Soundclick and need to know if the link's right: I've had trouble downloading to check it, not helped by my current dial-up hell.

Could somebody please give it a pop and tell me what happens?
smiley - cheers

aka Bel - A87832164

A window pops up, telling me to click 'here' if my pop-up blocker is enabled, so I did that. It told me I could now safely close the first window. Another window popped up, playing some music.

Yeh, write more

It plays the whole song, it's very good. I like the dirtyness. I'm on laptop so I'll record it, if you don't mind, and listen it on the pub sound system smiley - biggrin I'm not quite sure about the vocal though smiley - erm it might need something doing on/to it, maybe stereo spreading out a bit as well smiley - erm Is that you? it sounds a bit like the dude from Right Said Fred possibly after a strong curry and some buckets.

I like the 80's guitar bit.

Fancy doing a gig up north? Won't be until summer because we've got birthday party/label/record launches in june, so we're not putting anyone else on until afterwards but we'll be knackered in the aftermath, so if you've got a few more tunes of that ilk I'd be well up for it

Yep, that is me singing. Not one of my strong points! I've never been compared to Richard Fairbrass beforesmiley - weirdsmiley - biggrin. I'm not sure how to widen the stereo field - there aren't a lot of elements there to much around with. The organ pans a bit thanks to the Lesley sim, and the looped guitar is panned a little to the left.

I am going to do some more of this stuff, but haven't a clue how to make it giggable. Would one turn up with a laptop and press 'play'? I suppose some elements could be played on a keyboard and quite a lot of guitar stuff could be done live. There aren't likely to be many with singing, for obvious reasons...

It took me straight to the 'play it' button - brilliant - admittedly I've already had a couple of JD's and I'm really a Hendrix fan; but I loved it Roymondo - more please.smiley - hug

Somewhat typically I've been mucking about with synth and drum thingies all day and come up with several different flavours of absolute tripe. Hey-ho.
