Is this any relation to that other 'old-time' classic "help me Rhonnda, help, help, me Rhonnda" (as most famously used in that 80's film 'Short Circuit') or am I singing up the wrong end of the candlestick here?

none at all-'dd' in welsh is pronounced 'like the the 'th' in 'the'.
