Was it something like "No, I can't wait... can't wait, ANOTHER MINUTE..."

or have I just made that up?

I knew that. smiley - smiley Do I get extra sad points for spotting that Afrael was getting it confused with "Can't Wait Another Minute" by Five Star?

They said on the telly at the weekend that FIVE ST*R (as they so charmingly wrote their name) were one of the most successful hit-makers of all time - PLEASE can someone explain to be the attraction of their particular brand of claptrap????

Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.)

They were only "one of the most successful" in the sense that they pulled eight singles off their first album and seven off their second. Now the hits have stopped they should think about starting a dairy farm, as they're obviously so good at milking it. smiley - tongueout

You may not be a Rev but I must confess my Five Star related sin. The year is 1989.The girl's name is unimportant, but let's just call her 'L' for sake of argument. She was quite a pretty girl, and there were a couple of prominent reasons why a teenage lad would be interested in her, if you catch my drift.I'd gone to see her a couple of times, the first being the hilarious fateful day when Five Star were abused on Going Live by a hoax caller to the phone-in.L was devastated. Quite rightly too as she was Five Star's biggest fan. Background only required to set the scene for a tragic waste of time. You see,in time honoured cop drama material,"she knew where they lived".And she wanted me to go down there to see them.Sunday afternoon.Good football match on the telly, and I was winging my way to sunny Berkshire, blinded by....well you can imagine I'm sure.Five Star.Five hours sitting outside their house, with L hoping for a glimpse of her idols. No show.No smiles, no hellos, the closest she got to Five Star contact was when one of the lads drove out of the electric gates, blissfully unaware of those who waited outside.Sort of grew apart after that one.....can't imagine why.

Yes I am a bad boy, but I did instantly recognise the tune once you performed that wonderful impression of the labrador.
