Okay h2g2 has employees, which implies they are paid, which implies money, which begs thequestion who is paying for all this?

The advertisers (Fotango, Eyestorm etc.) pay H2G2 to put banner ads on the top of the screen.
The cost of this avertising is bourne by the customers.
The purpose of this advertising is to tempt you into being one of the customers.
So in summary, we were all hoping you would
