Written in 2004 by Mitch Benn. Seemed funny then, when Bush had won a second term.
Now it sounds quite nasty. Prophetic and real, and therefore nasty. Just barely discernible as parody at this point. I maintain Trump is going to be practically unsatirisable.

No such web address exists.
If I had so much as one or two words from the title or the song itself, I could Google it.
I keep running into references to breakups, vaccination, the BBC, etc.

That's twice in one week that clip has surfaced - here yesterday and on Az's blog on Wednesday.
And I only rewatched Cabaret last week, so these things really do come in threes.
That's quite a chilling scene, they're all so happy and passionate and proud

At the time, they had no reason not to be....
Remember this takes place even before Germany marches into the Rhineland. I know it's hard, but you need to remember not to apply 20/20 hindsight.
