If needs be I shall send my attack badgers to the BBC, and force them to remove such content as they once said they should. Actually, are they breaking any contractual stuff by still hosting OUR* matterial? afterall, surely the rights for the matterial/entrys, would have passed from them, to the rebel takeover group, as part of the transition?

I don't know, but that's an interesting point. Someone should know the answer to that.

We're still getting a BBC redirect, which is a good thing - there are lots of published links ot there with the BBC URL. I think they may be providing some kind of technical support on parts of the code, too. I'd wait until we're fully self sufficient before you start making aggressive noises.

Unfortunately a lot of the people that we dealt with during the purchase etc are no longer there, but things are happening in the background.

There is a new version of Pliny coming out soon (in h2g2 standards of soon) and we believe it will address a lot of issues that we currently suffer with search engines. A lot has already been done, and more is being done

By far and away the majority of our visitors come through search engines as Lanza says, and depending on what you're looking for, and how well the article is written, we do already come quite high up.

Time is an illusion, h2g2 time doubly so
