I am ashamed to say that I never got the hang of TMoL, but just wanted to point people to the Radio 4 home page - they are collecting new words for the 30th anniversary. Can't send a link at the moment because the radio stations (even their home pages) are blocked off at work here.

Ah excellent, I have one that I couldn't tell John Lloyd last year when I was in the same room as him - it's a stonker...just need to remember what it was now!

Interesting. I was just thinking yesterday that it must be about 30 years since Liff was published.
What started me thinking about Liff, though, wad the current 'Door Etiquette' thread, as it put me in mind of the numerous entries in Liff on the subject of corridor etiquette - all of which began with Corrie, I think. Like Corrievorrie, for example.
I'll check it out.

Yes, I heard the John loyd interview about it on BBC radio a few weeks ago. "Afterliff" - out this autumn, I think.
