not sure if this will work, but it looks like those japanese emoticons u can get for mobile apps show up here in pliny. Not sure if just when logged out. May depend on your Operating System
if you do not see them you may see boxes or ???s
something interesting
clare Posted Dec 2, 2012
if you have those emoji loaded to your fonts I think you will see them
Mind you, I am not a big fan of these or most emoticons. I only love hootoo's smileys. They are more robust!
But it is fun.
something interesting ?

I can see a frog in the subject header in my Goo convo popup. I just see questions marks when I load the thread.
I am using an iPad with emoji enabled.

clare Posted Dec 2, 2012
I think it only works on a smart phone (mobile) that has the emoji emoticon font loaded into the fonts section - in pliny

🙈🙉🙊
Using Pliny on the same device (iPad) displays all of the Emoji! That's a pretty 😎 discovery.

Yes indeedy do! I am on my computer now so can't see your emoticons or type any myself.
What it does amount to, firstly, besides fun for us, is that non-registered visitors on mobile devices that have emoji enabled will see them.
A very interesting thing this brings up to me is a fantastic way for hootoo to bring in some serious money. Make a program that installs our smileys on at least a mobile device (a program like emoji's app) Hootoo's smileys are the best I have ever seen.

oh no... your emoticons don't show up for me on my device! Is it possible yours are new and I don't have them?
What are they (in post 5)

That is very cute, witty, but I still cannot see them, witty moniker
Are they either of those two I put up there a post or two back?
I am getting tired of dealing with the mobile device; it is plugged to the wall in an awkward place for me.
So I am over here on the console where I can't see anything because I do not have emoji enabled on this computer.
I think.
