Hoovooloo

Who uses Amazon DRM? .MOBI ftw.

Which means Kindle books are better because you can give them away to friends AND STILL KEEP THEM.

Sho - employed again!

I almost never loan books and if I do I want them back. Someday is ok but I want my book back. I have been known to buy people a cheap 2nd hand copy of a book rather than loan mine out...

Oh, yes, SoRB. Obviously most of my Kindle books are .mobi...but there are a couple I've not been able to get from the smiley - pirate sites. (What's the Swedish for Rrrrrr?)

Even so - some of my friends don't have Kindles...and .mobi's aren't much use to charidee shops.

Don't get me wrong - Kindles have their uses. But I'm still not convinced they're indispensable.

@Sho:

People sometimes ask me 'But what if you want to read it again?' smiley - shrug I buy another copy. And I don't lend out the ones I don't want to lose.

Indeed. But I'm getting closer to nirvana by freeing myself from material attachment.*

End with a song.
