Was that a craving a few postings back, Tigerlily?
Frizzlepopinfresh, the WEIRDEST thing about non-Brit sweets has to be the flavour. Peach? PEACH? Sweeties should be lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, rasberry, blackcurrant. Anything else is just too freaky to my poor British brain . Cherry, blueberry, etc - just can't cope. Maybe you have to be brought up with it....
Which reminds me: anyone want the bag of Tootsie Rolls which has been languishing in my office for months - they taste like Play-doh
Sherbet fountain anybody?

Oh I'm definitely very into fruit flavoured boiled sweets at the moment and brussel sprouts .... although separately, not eaten at the same time that is!

There must be something in the water over there. Blckcurrant? What the hell is a blackcurrant? If you disrespect the peach penguin, you have obviously not had one yourself. We have all the good flavors (without a "u") over here. I pity you and your blackcurrant. Some people just don't know how to live.

Frizzlepopinfresh, art thou insulting the might of the blackcurrant?? The Mightiest of ALL Currants??

Blackcurrents are great, especially when you find them growing at the side of the road in hedgerows. Or is that Blackberry...?
Blackcurrents are like Redcurrents, which are small and bitter, where as blackberries are like black raspberries.
