Have you seen CHRISTMAS yet?

Still Incognitas, Still Chairthingy, Still lurking, Still invisible, unnoticeable, missable, unseen, just haunting h2g2

Christmas starts in school so much earlier as the staff have to get the nativity or Christmas play rehearsed. The decorations hopefully don't go up before Dec 1 but again this is dependant on how long it took to design and make them.It is no wonder us teachers are so punch drunk about the Crimbo season.Especially as I usually end up buying my shopping after the school holidays start which is the 20/Dec this year.Sigh! I still want to hibernate with the bears.

In Sweden we celebrate something called Lucia. It's on the 13th of december. Lucia is an italian saint who lived in Syracuse sometime in the past. She brought candles or something to the poor people but the romans didn't like it I suppose so they had her killed. And so she became a martyr. On the 13th we sing quiet songs and share gingerbread, light candles, get dressed up in white linnen and wear funny hats on our heads. Hope Lucia is delighted...
