basically, metaphysical means "pertaining to reality". thus, what is "metaphysical" depends on your definition of reality.

read Plato. its all about him. and frankly, altho it is certainly very likely that smug a-level psychology students know something about metaphysics (), the study of metatphysics has virtually nothing to do with psychology.

er, um - if everything is in the mind, then everything is perception, and nothing is real. therefore nothing is metaphysical, my little postmodernist

In my local city there is a door where a business-sign says a name and underneath Metaphysicist. What does that woman do for a living?

Sounds like a fashionable word for philosopher to me. Oh my god, I typed fashionable in a sarcastic tone of voice, is this making me an old fart?

actually, it probably means that she's some sort of fortune teller - palm readings, tarot cards, seances, and the like - goes with the definition of metaphysical as "beyond physical" i.e. mystical.......sigh.

metaemotion-beyond the emotional,ie logic
metaetics-beyond ethics, the sillyness of the aplication of the idea of right and wroung(they dont make no sence)
