Been to the Oktoberfest?

Here I am, with the worst hang over I ever had, everything is kinda blurry, my voice is almost non-existent... And why? I´ve been to the Oktoberfest yesterday and got pretty hammered.
So the question is: Have any of you already been there? Who is planing ot go there? Has anyone been there at all?

P.S. It is a lie that sleeping helps against hang overs, I was in bed by 7 last night. Or so I´ve been told

Heh. I was there in 1980-82 ... Munich. I can still remember the headache, but more so the great fun I had. I loved Southern Germany in general.

It's Bavaria. Southern Germany, South of France, the Southern United States. Just look at the similarities in the people, their openess, their friendliness, and the warm, comfortable attitude of the society in general. Personally I think the girls are prettier in the south as well. Enough said. Ein mas bier, bitte!

I'm from Southern England and now living in Southern Germany so I will agree with the last comment!
As for October Fest, not going this year going to Volksfest instead in Bad Cannsted, just as good but not as far for me to travel!
