I am trying to find out some information for a friend who has seriosus (sp?) a skin disease. She heard about an over the counter spray available in europe but not yet avalable here in the u.s. called Blue Cap. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thank you

What's the name of the disease? Without knowing it's hard to know what to suggest.

Sorry, no experience of this, have you tried a web search. I do know that the author Dennis Potter suffered from it.

This is a subject I do know quite a bit about - unfortunately I've had that particular skin problem for years. I've never heard of Blue Cap though - if you should find anything out let me know!
Personally, I've never yet (touchwood) been bad enough to warrant some of the more extreme treatments (light therapy and a drug which as some nasty side effects), but in creams and lotions, I've tried just about everything going. Most of the commonest are coal tar based, the most effective of which for me is Exorex (which I believe is available in the US).
The best cream I've ever had is one called Psorigon. I was available as a herbal treatment, cost a fortune but was was worth every penny. Unfortunately, it was taken off the market about 18 months ago. I understand it is currently going through tests to make it available as a medicine. Don't know when it will be available again yet!
Hope this helps.
