I'm getting married YAY!!!!
We're looking for a small venue within a 50 mile radius of Chester. We're only going to have around 25 or 30 people there (coz it looks like we will be moving house around the same time, so we're cost cutting
Has anyone been to any civil ceremonies within that radius and can recommend somewhere? There are so many that we don't know whether we're coming or going!
All advice will be gratefully appreciated.

I f you're thinking of elopement then why not get married in the lake district!!!
My daughter had a lovely wedding in a beautiful big hotel there, and we all travelled there for the day,the scenery was breathtaking, and a wonderful setting for the photos.....and it didn't cost an arm and a leg!!

Hiya Vicki,
My mate got married a couple of years ago in Cottons Hotel, that's fairly near Chester cos I remember going shopping there beforehand (last minute wedding pressie buying!!) They had a small wedding too, bout 40 people. The wedding and the reception were in the same room, after the ceremony everyone went out into the garden for photos and Pimms whilst the staff changed the room for dinner. It was really nice and friendly.
Apart from that, I have no idea!!

Congratulations
I've been told any groom of mine will be presented with a long ladder by my Dad; so be on the look out for any unusually shaped parcels that may arrive for G in the post.
I don't know the area so can't really suggest anything.
