I don't know if his music has an 'era' but I'd go with 80's cos that's when I saw him in Docklands

I wonder what his dad thinks about his music?

From what I understand, he and his dad are not on the best terms with each other. It's not to do with music but with the fact that Maurice Jarre left his wife and family when Jean Michel was a little boy (or something like that).

My favourite JMJ album is still Equinox, followed by Chronology and Zoolook.

I said that before, didn't I?

I like the first half of Revolutions. The second contains Computer Weekend, which I find awful and The Immigrant (or was The Emmigrant?) which I find awful. September is actually not so bad, but it kinda gets on my nerves pretty fast. Revolution and Tokyo Kid are great. On the first half I like all tracks (with the possible exception of London Kid), if all the aimless noising around on Industrial Revolution Part One were a bit less aimless...

Jarre is more 70s...his break thru decade!
...he is one of the orginal early techno makers with Kraftwerk and Yellow Magic Orchestra.

..but in 80s he was the first western artist to preform in China.
