h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Okay, when I go to see who's online,
Is there any rhyme or reason to the order that the names are listed?
Is some computer, somewhere, trying to keep it's bored mind occupied by trying to display the names in the most ramdom order possible? Is there something very obvious about the list that I am just missing?(and soon feeling like a fool about)

I was just wondering, because I am just not seeing whatever is happening there. Any answers?

No it's randomly generated I think. I see different people at different locations all the time.

Good I'm glad it' snot just me. I really thought something was happening there but couldn't figure it out. You don't happen to know why it's random do you? Also, I have noticed that I always tend to be around about the same spot on the list (trust me, i've been keeping my eye on that suspicious list), is this just a coincidence?

I have no idea. Maybe just a random number generator or something.

now i will have to find something more constuctive to do with my time.(like actually getting around to updating my home)

I think it is probably random so as to encourage you to go out there and meet new people.
