The actual way the result is done is rather spurious based on the speed at which you identify black and white faces or good and bad words.

you got it to work? I tried the link the and it wouldn;t play ball.

It's based on how quick you respond when white is associated with good and black with bad compared with how quick you respond when they are the other way around.

I scored "slight automatic preference for black over white". I also scored "slight automatic preference for old over young".

Hmm, no "Are you a technophobe" test? Do you prefer computers telling you what kind of personality you are or do you have a slight preference for being a person?

It would all depend on how you define racism. It usually gets quite simplified I think.

The test confirmed what I suspected - a slight preference for white people. I'm not a discriminating man, quite the contrary in fact. I think, in this case, it comes down to having white parents, a white family, and, to be honest, a pretty white life.

This is a very difficult issue to talk about on a msg board. As Xan points out, the word 'racism' is not so unambiguous these days.

Where we again see the term "racism" being used very widely. Somehow assuming all people of a certain mixed race population all are into a certain ballgame is somehow racism. Rather than just prejudice.
