Other than his collaboration with Kylie, could any Nick Cave fans out there suggest tracks by him to listen to that represent his best work?

Cave has come a long way. Red Right Hand is a great song. So is, Into My Arms - but totally different in style, mood, and key.
As far as personal favorites are concerned: I love the Weeping Song and Hallelujah...

The first song to come to mind is The Mercy Seat. I'll be back later, with more developed thinking...

'The Good Son' would be my favourite Nick album of the ones I own - it's one of those rare albums that doesn't have a dud track on it. I'm pretty sure there are several albums I've not heard. At least, not when I've been sober and in a state to remember the experience in detail. I tnd to end up at the sort of parties where people play old Birthday Party material; it's fantastic stuff for the most part, and ideal for when one isn't entirely sober and so forth.
