ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THE ZX SPECTRUM?

i can't get my old zx spectrum +2 to work. does anyone have any ideas?
(i know it should work, it's just i can't get anywhere near a clear picture)

Is the TV tuned to the right channel? It might need some fine adjusting.
Using the test signal might help with tuning (hold down the break key whilst pushing the reset button, then releasing the break key).
If you still can't get it right, you might need to replace the rf modulator, or get your friendly neighbourhood tv repair guy to do it
