Belly Button Lint
mez Posted Jul 3, 2000
Well thankyou for that link it has answered all of my questions!
Although I can tell you that my lint and others that I have spoken to have blue/grey fluff. I think that this Graham Barker must have some special conditions for growing lint. Or the elves have got red dye in there.
So viewers, it seems that lint is mainly a male problem, (caused by belly hair, hence why females dont' suffer.... I HOPE) and the color seems to be an "average" of the clothes u wear, which is obviously related to why the fluff in my drying machine is that same color hey!
innie for me too, in fact I don't think I have ever seen an outie IRL, are there many of u outies?

Belly button fluff is blue because of the doppler effect - you know, red shift, blue shift. Ipso fatso QED

Yeah Aussie blokes, they've got the world's best chat up line. Do you want to come up and see my BBF.
What chance have we Scots got with "D'you want to come up and see my sheep tics" with competition like that around. The world's so unfair.
*looks forlornly into his BB, but only finds a bit of wool*

Hardly a chat up line wumbeevil, well certainly not one that would work on me.... now wool, that could be a novelty....
there is a fair bit of it here though... but scosmen dont need chat up lines, they just need to talk, the accent works fine for most chicks doesn't it?

Oops that was meant to 'scotsmen' not scosmen...
oops....

I think I've been called worse than scosmen somehow
I don't think I can answer your question about the accent being effective for picking up chicks, my memory doesn't go back that far.
OK, OK the accent thing certainly doesn't work for Scottish chicks, not even the four-legged ones. This may have something to do with the lady in question objecting to being called 'Jimmy' - "Ho Jim, aye you Jimmy. yurrarite wee stoatir hen, dyewanna go upradancin inhuvva weeswally?". Maybe I should just point out here that "weeswally" is certainly not to be translated literally (unless it's Castlemaine XXXX) *duck* and actually means "as much alcohol as you can pour down your throat before passing out". As for the accent pulling chicks outside Scotland, no one understands a word I say for some strange reason.
Hmmm, wool in the belly button? Now there's a good chat up line there involving pulling the wool over your eyes, that absolutely guarantees a sore face. It's probably safer to try something like, "Do you wanna come back to my place and knit yourself a jumper straight from my belly button" or, better still, just spin her a yarn.
Oh and tabatha, I don't know how to break this to you gently, so I'm not even gonna try. Do you remember being so grossed out by your compatriot's collection that you had to go and lie down? Well, seemingly those jars are only a minute portion of his fluff production over the past 15 years. This guy has personally filled every mattress in Australia with the rest of his BBF...
...and it's no use rushing to check the label on your mattress hoping it's Japanese, you know very well it's home grown!

You can call me TC Posted Oct 22, 2000
I'm glad this thread was revived - I missed it first time round - must have been on holiday.
I used to find stuff in my BB (am female) but it wasn't fibrous - I won't go into any more detail, it's not nice.
When you're pregnant, by the way, towards the end, one of the biggest advantages is that your BB is turned practically inside out and you can give it a real good cleanout.
Have fun everyone.
PS That site by that guy with the jars of yuk is really very good - funny, but he seems to have done some research so you do actually learn something (if you can bear to read that far!) Anyway, I've sent it to a few people. The joys of the www!!

Hmmm, non-fibrous stuff in your BB? I suppose that rules out coconuts then?
I know having an unclean BB is an unsurpassable social faux pas, but isn't getting pregnant so you can give it a really good clean, just a little bit drastic. I've always been quite impressed by the BB cleaning service offered by Dynorod, and then there's the optional executive service with a colonic irrigation thrown in.
Aw well I suppose I'm being a bit harsh, commenting on the pregnancy method without experiencing it. I shall rectify this situation ASAP.
*sits down and reads "You'll never get piles unless you PUUUUUUSH"*
Hey, wait a minute this is blatant sexism, I can't get pregnant. How's a man meant to keep a clean belly button when there's discrimination like this in the world?
