Simba....Cuddly but evil...The King has returned.

There is currently a conversation on the radio about a lion and a tiger mating and,as a result, producing a LIGER.
Not sure whether it is true...maybe other researchers would confirm it.smiley - smiley

Anyway they are holding a phone in....or should I say text in....where people suggest other wacky relationships.
So I just thought that maybe h2ers would come up with some as well.
Try to keep them clean though.smiley - biggrin

How about a DOG and a STORK to get a DORK?

Ah but if you use a male tiger and a female lion you get a Tigon. And yes they do exist - they're like the mule though, sterile. I believe a Liger is even bigger than a Tiger making it the worlds biggest cat.

So reversing your pairing would give a Stog smiley - smiley

How about a Rhino and a Hippopotamus

A Rhinopopoatmus .... sounds Greek smiley - winkeye

OR crossing a Duckbilled Platypus with a Duck would give a

Duckbilled Duck

I know the Liger exists and it is bigger, but does the Tigon actually exist?

This reminds me of an Ogden Nash book I one owned - wonder where its gone. All sorts of wacky crosses like these with pictures and poems to go with them. Can't remember a single one of them though which it highly annoying. Off to warrior-female website for a shufty..

Simba....Cuddly but evil...The King has returned.

How many people would fit inside an "octocopter"?

Think I would like one of them.

I think a Tigon sounds more fierce than a Liger.

A cheetah and a monkey.....Chunky.

I use to love watching them.

For some reason I thought Ronnie Barker was dead, but then I saw a tribute thing to him on BBC1 one night.

And I never realised Corbett was as small as he is either...I thought it was just an ongoing joke. But its true.
