Food not worth the trouble

I'd love to say yes but it's usually a full house. Wonder if we'll have goose this year again. It's nicer than pheasant.

We rarely eat before seven pm. Mum's cooking seems to gravitate to evening no matter what time she starts!

It's almost easier to say what I do bother to make, usually I just can't be bothered to spend time in the kitchen. I never make jam/pickles/mayonnaise/coleslaw other similar products available in jars/cans, can't be bothered with pasta/ice cream/yogurt whether or not it does taste better. We don't eat pizza. Most stuff I've tried making at home isn't any better anyway, or not worth the time (buying the ingredients, preparation, clearing away...).

I do make my own pastry for mince pies (shop bought filling better than any homemade I've tried). My apple pie/crumble is better than any I've bought. Oh and I do use my bread making machine regularly - that's so easy!

We do also grow some of our own veg.
