Webbed feet/toes

Post 1

I am one of those unusual people who have two toes on each foot that are webbed. Does anyone else have webbed toes or know anything about it? All I know is that it is most common for humans to have the 2nd and 3rd toes webbed (which I do) by skin and flexible tissue that does not die whilst in fetal development.

One of the children that my mum fostered had the last two toes on each foot webbed. She had an operation to seperate them. She cried a lot when they changed the bandages, but that's all I know. She's also had a 5/6th 'finger' removed from her little fingers before she came to us at about three years old.

I also have my second and third toes webbed on each foot. So does my mother and my great grandmother did as well, so maybe its genetic.
