Wand'rin star

I've just finished acting in one, for the second year running - "Alice" this time - in Hong Kong. Included everything you expect but with a twist. For example, the scary thing behind you was a "Hello Kitty". The slapstick scene was a cook-off between the (evil) Queen of Hearts and the Dame. So double amounts of confusion and spilt flour. Tweedledum was a short woman, Tweedledummer was a man a foot taller and a hundred pounds heavier. It was totally wonderful and I'm already looking forward to next year (Sleeping Beauty)
I'd love to go and see Ian McKellen as a dame at the Old Vic but I don't think there's anyone else available to come with me smiley - starsmiley - star

I am Donald Sutherland

I can remember the first Pantomime I went to see when I was about eight years old. It was Ken Dodd in Aladdin at the Liverpool Empire.

Ken Dodd is on at our local Civic Hall this year. I might go and see him again for old times sake. Thats a ****ty year separation. See if he does his "Road to Mandalay" routine again! They dont make 'em like that anymore!

Donald

Magwitch - My name is Mags and I am funky.

Arthur Askey (remember him?) in Babes in the Wood at the Palace in Manchester. Far too many years than I care to remember ago. What a kegend! He managed to throw some sweeties to the three families sat in the gods!
