"A massive government database holding details of every phone call, e-mail and time spent on the internet by the public is being planned as part of the fight against crime and terrorism. Internet service providers (ISPs) and telecoms companies would hand over the records to the Home Office under plans put forward by officials."

Your aggressive threat against the people has been noted citizen. Officers from the Department of Joy, Happiness and Big Love will shortly be calling to escort you to a re-education centre.

But seriously, I feel sorry for whoever-it-is who has to sift through all of these calls and emails and so forth. All the 'I'm on the train' and 'Could you pick up some milk on the way home' and all that txtspk...

>>About 57 billion text messages were sent in Britain last year, while an estimated 3 billion e-mails are sent every day.<<

Oh, it'll be keyword type stuff, wont it. So if you say 'Bomb' and 'cannabis' a few times it'll make a whole load of work for them that wont actually achieve anything.

I often randomly send texts with "explode" "Gordon" and "Brown" to friends, just to piss these sorts of people off.

Shhhh!
Keep it down in here, or the men in the brown suits will be peering over our shoulders.... we're gona be in big trubble if anyone ever figures out what they heck we're talking about on here...
Does anyone actually think though that this could/would result in a single bit of useful information passing to TPTB I can't believe for a moment that they've even thought through just what they're proposing and much less that they'll actually have anyone who knows what they're doing running it But heck, if it keeps the general level of paranoia nice and high amongst the chattering classes and leads em or some of them at least, to believe the buldge spouted by the Govn as regards our 'neeing to be vigal', and the threat of a forign terrorist on every street corner, then surely its for our enifit at the end of the day

Well, we could always use instead... it would surely make conversations more... interesting ..due to time delay... and also provide with something to munch on if you're hungry.
